What we collect, and why.
We collect: identification data (name, email, phone) when you contact us or book a consultation; tax-position data (NIF, residency facts, income types, document copies) when you engage us professionally; website usage data (cookies, pages visited, source) for analytics; and CRM data (engagement notes, communication history) for client service. How long we keep it.
Client engagement data is retained for 10 years under Portuguese tax-record-keeping rules (LGT art 45 and CIRS / CIRC document-retention duties). Marketing-list data is retained until you unsubscribe or for 24 months of inactivity, whichever is shorter. Anonymous analytics data is retained per platform default settings (currently 14 months on Google Analytics 4).

Under GDPR, you may request access (Art 15), rectification (Art 16), erasure (Art 17), restriction (Art 18), portability (Art 20), and objection (Art 21). Email info@taxbordr.com with the request. We respond within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied, you may complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, CNPD, www.cnpd.pt).
